Symptoms

After upgrading Parallels Infrastructure Manager to Parallels Virtual Automation, the following error message is shown on each attempt to access "https://node_ip:4643" address:

Forbidden
The IP address of a physical server cannot be used with its Parallels Power Panel port number.
Do one of the following:
If you want to open the Parallels Virtual Automation Control Center, use the IP address of the management server with the default port number.
If you want to open the Parallels Power Panel, use the IP address or hostname of the Virtual Environment.

How can I access the Management Node after the upgrade?

Cause

Parallels Virtual Automation implies installing the Management Node in an isolated environment. It does not get installed on each node by default, as it was with PIM. The easiest way to do it is to install PVA MN into a dedicated container.

Resolution

Follow PVA MN installation instructions. After it is installed, PVA should be accessed by "https://pva_mn_ip:4648" address in order to register and manage the hardware nodes in the infrastructure.
