Container cannot be restored from a backup storage with the following error message:

# vzarestore 101 --storage
Warning: You are using a deprecated utility that will be dropped in the next major release. Please use prlctl restore instead.

Can't find backup for container No suitable backup to restore.


Container 101 is no longer present on the node, its configuration file is absent (or the container is restored not to the node where it was running initially).


Use BackupID with the vzarestore command:

# vzarestore -B -e BackupID --storage


# vzarestore -l -f -e 101 --storage
