When loading Applications tab of a domain in Plesk or while trying to install any application, the following message is displayed:

Search results could not be loaded at the moment. Retry

In 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\admin\logs\php_error.log':

Hitting at least one application at Tools&Settings > Application Vault > Installed Apps > application_name gives the following output:

APP-META.XML files have incorrect permissions, specifically missing Full control permission for 'psaadm' user. Missing folders.


  1. Clear cache in Tools & Settings > Application Vault > Clear cache.

  2. Locate 'APP-META.XML' files in 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\var\apspackages\' folder, e.g.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\var\apspackages\feafef33-ba0d-41d8-bcbc-d22db27049a7\APP-META.XML
  3. Right-click on the file > Properties > Security tab > Advanced > Enable inheritance.

  4. Make sure that 'psaadm' user has Full control permission for the files.
