I have restore backup from Plesk on this server. On of websites showing 'Error 503'. In the Windows Application Log I see the error message:

Corrupted config file.


  1. Create a backup of IIS configuration:

    %Winddir%\System32\inetsrv\appcmd.exe add backup IIS-BACKUP
  2. Stop IIS

  3. Edit %Winddir%\System32\inetsrv\config\applicationHost.config remove user and password attributes from a virtual folder definition at line from an error message.

  4. Start IIS
