A container loses Unix socket permissions during online migration with conversion to ploop format. Before the migration:
[root@ct ~]# ls -al /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock srwxrwxrwx 1 mysql mysql 0 Nov 21 18:55 /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock
After the migration:
[root@ct ~]# ls -al /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock srwxr-xr-x 1 mysql mysql 0 Jul 3 01:11 /var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock
As a result, applications cannot connect to MySQL using Unix domain socket.
The bug in
rsync-static has been identified: write permissions are lost after the migration.
For Parallels Virtozzo Containers 4.7 the issue was fixed in Tools Update 4.7.0-440 in scope of the bug PCLIN-32435.
For Parallels Virtozzo Containers 4.6 corresponding bug PCLIN-32338 is not resolved yet, however the issue can be workarounded by replacing
/usr/local/share/vzlinmigrate/rsync copied from the destination PCS 6.0 server.
