The version of
tar utility on the server is higher than 1.20
# tar --version tar (GNU tar) 1.23
Plesk backup manager executes
/bin/tar with incorrect options and it leads to restoration fail. This behavior is considered as a software issue with internal id #PPPM-2535, the fix is considered to be included in one of the next Plesk updates.
This issue has been fixed in Plesk MU#38, please install all Plesk updates and try again.
