The name change of Parallels Cloud Server to Virtuozzo does not require an upgrade from Parallels Cloud Server, nor does it change a service provider’s current licensing or support agreement for Parallels Cloud Server. It is a name change aligned with Parallels Cloud Server 6.0 Update 9 (available for download as of March 19, 2015), which adds support for the development and deployment of cloud applications using Docker on Virtuozzo containers.
Here is some additional clarification on how the Virtuozzo name impacts the pieces of what was previously Parallels Cloud Server:
- "Parallels Containers" becomes "Virtuozzo containers"
- "Parallels Hypervisor" becomes "Virtuozzo hypervisor"
- "Parallels Cloud Storage" becomes "Virtuozzo storage"

Some existing technical product documentation for Virtuozzo will continue to reference Parallels Cloud Server as we work toward the release of the first beta version of version 7.0 later this year.
