The sw-engine process on the Plesk server for Linux causes high cpu load:

# ps -o %cpu,%mem,cmd -C sw-engine
 0.0  0.5  /usr/bin/sw-engine -c /opt/psa/admin/conf/php.ini -c /opt/psa/admin/conf/php.ini -dauto_prepend_file=sdk.php /opt/psa/admin/plib/modules/plesk-mobile/scripts/push_worker.php 


Product bug in the Plesk Mobile Extension. The issue was fixed in the latest version of Plesk Mobile Extension.


  1. Download the latest version of Parallels Mobile Center from the Plesk repository .
  2. Login to Plesk
  3. Go to Extensions
  4. Click Add Extenion and upload Parallels Mobile Center package
  5. If you already have the process of push_worker with high CPU usage just kill the process :

    # pkill push_worker
