  • Plesk 11.5 for Windows

When attempt to access the following error is displayed:

Access to the path \inetpub\vhosts\\httpdocs\testfolder is denied

Not Plesk Reconfigurator nor repair.exe utilities do not resolve the issue.

Required system user and/or permissions are not configured properly for the directory %plesk_vhosts%\\httpdocs\testfolder in Plesk.

  1. Use Process Monitor to find the user, who has no access to the directory. The username identity also can be found in IIS > Application Pools >

  2. Open Plesk > Home > Subscriptions> > Websites & Domains > > Virtual Directory > \testfolder > Directory Access Permissions and check if this user was not granted with access permission. To fix the issue add the user and set required permission on testfolder.
