Daily Maintenance task runs every day. The task processes /var/log/maillog entries and puts them into the maillog.processed file.

Once a week, CentOS log rotation moves the /var/log/maillog to the maillog-$date file and creates a new, empty maillog.

The next time Plesk runs the Daily Maintenance task, it processes incomplete data from the maillog. The entries from maillog-$date created before are not included in the statistics calculation.

This is Plesk internal issue PPPM-2626 , which is expected to be fixed in future product updates.

Remove /var/log/maillog line from the /etc/logrotate.d/syslog file. Thus, only Plesk will rotate the maillog.
