If you have removed an application that was installed from your set of application templates from within a container manually, it may still appear as an installed template on the container. In this case, you can remove the application template in the following manner:

For Parallels Virtuozzo Containers for Windows 4.0 and earlier versions:

1. Stop the required container.

2. Open its conf file: x:\vz\conf\CTID.conf

3. Remove TEMPLATE_NAME from the corresponding string.

4. Save the CTID.conf file.

5. Start the container.

For Parallels Virtuozzo Containers 4.5 and later versions:

1. Enlist all installed templates for the container:
vzcfgt get CTID Templates

C:\Users\Administrator>vzcfgt get 101 Templates

2. Set/add all templates to the Templates value, omitting TEMPLATE_NAME:
vzcfgt set CTID Templates "Template1;Template2;...."

C:\Users\Administrator>vzcfgt set 101 Templates "windows7_skin-1.0/20100525"

C:\Users\Administrator>vzcfgt get 101 Templates

3. Restart PVA Agent in order to reread the container configuration and propagate changes to the PVA Management Node:
net stop pvaagent
net start pvaagent
