Since upgrading to Plesk 12 the following emails are recevied few times every day:
From: System Administrator <root@localhost> Subject: message unavailable This message is no longer available on the server
The Outlook for Mac is used to receive mail.
This message is no longer available on the server" typically means that a message header grabbed by Outlook for Mac via IMAP on a previous connection, no longer links to a full message on the server. Outlook for Mac is set to synchronize headers and the emails no longer exist on the server when trying to fully download.
To fix the issue perform the following steps:
Delete messages from
root@localhoston mailbox and move or delete
mv /var/qmail/mailnames/domains_name/user_name/Maildir/courierimapuiddb /root/
If Outlook for Mac is set to download headers, try to set it to download full messages and check if it helps. More details.
