A hardware node experiences BSOD on starting containers after KB3088195 is installed.

The issue is recognized as a product bug known under internal ID PCWIN-22695.

Uninstall KB3088195 from the hardware node.

For 6.0 version of Virtuozzo Containers for Windows, additional actions are required to let the containers start after the update removal and node reboot. Use the attached script in order to fix the containers. Run it in Powershell:

PS C:\> set-executionpolicy remotesigned -force
PS C:\> FixKB3088195.ps1 <CTID>

Where is the ID of the container to fix. To do that for all containers on the node (run the command from the directory, where the script is downloaded):

PS C:\> $ctids = (vzlist -Hao veid) -replace " ",""; foreach ($ctid in $ctids) { ./FixKB3088195.ps1 $ctid ; vzctl start $ctid }

KB3088195 has been disapproved on Virtuozzo WSUS until the bug is fixed, so it should no longer be detected by WSUS clients. It is advised to reset WSUS clients to ensure the update is no longer detected.
