1. What's Included in This Update

This update includes a new Parallels Server Bare Metal 5.0 kernel (2.6.32-042stab112.15) based on the Red Hat Enterprise Linux 6.7 kernel (2.6.32-573.7.1.el6). The new kernel is a rebase to a new Red Hat Enterprise Linux kernel. It also introduces security and stability fixes.

  • CPT suspend of a ploop container could lead to a crash in add_extent_mapping(). (#PSBM-26762)

  • In certain circumstances, host node could hang on memory allocation inside ext4_writepages(). (#PSBM-39335)

  • DRM/i915: crash on boot in intel_cleanup_ring_buffer(). (#PSBM-39657)

  • Infinite loop in fuse_fill_write_pages(). (#PSBM-40379)

  • Uninterruptable hang in sendfile. (#PSBM-40387)

You can download and install the update using the vzup2date utility included in the Parallels Server Bare Metal 5.0 distribution set.
