Issue date: 2015-11-13

1. What's Included in This Update

The new packages for Virtuozzo (formerly Parallels Cloud Server) 6.0 provide usability, stability, and security fixes.

2. Bug Fixes

  • In very rare cases, CS could permanently show 100% W/A time, reducing cluster performance. (#PSBM-39708)

  • Deletion of a very large amount of data could result in changing of master MDS. (#PSBM-40975)

  • A malicious guest administrator could trigger a DoS causing the host to hang indefinitely. (#PSBM-41035) After updating, no host reboot or 'parallels-server' restart is necessary. To avoid the vulnerability in the future, each VM on the host should either be restarted or suspended/resumed. Alternatively, VMs on the host can be migrated to an updated host.

3. Obtaining the Update

You can download and install the update using the yum utility included in the Virtuozzo (formerly Parallels Cloud Server) 6.0 distribution.
