How to enable Apache 'mod_status' module?

  1. Check if 'status' module is already loaded:

    For Debian-based systems:

    # apache2ctl -M | grep status
     status_module (shared)

    For RedHat-based systems:

    # httpd -M | grep status
    status_module (shared)

    If it is not, enable it from Home> Tools & Settings > Apache Web Server Settings

  2. Edit configuration file /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/status.conf (/etc/httpd/conf.modules.d/status.conf) as on example:

    <IfModule mod_status.c>
    <Location /server-status>
        SetHandler server-status
        Order deny,allow
        Deny from all
        Allow from localhost ip6-localhost
    ExtendedStatus On
  3. Restart Apache service:

    For Debian-based systems:

    # service apache2 restart

    For RedHat-based systems:

    # service httpd restart
