Virtual network may lose binding to a VLAN infterface, if service network restart was invoked on the hardware node. As the result, virtual environments in bridged mode may lose network connections.

~# vznetcfg net list | grep vlan
vlannetwork active eth0.3

~# service network restart

~# vznetcfg net list | grep vlan
vlannetwork active

The issue has been registered as a product defect PSBM-20547.

The bug is fixed in Virtuozzo 6.0 Update 11 (6.0.11-3429).

Install pending updates to prevent issue from reoccurring.

To fix already broken network configuration, restart 'vznetcfg':

~# service vznetcfg stop; sleep 3; service vznetcfg start

(On some installations, service vznetcfg restart does not help to fix the issue, a delay is needed for proper reconfiguration.)

If possible, perform ifdown IFACE; ifup IFACE to apply changes to the specific interface.

To avoid the issue on pre-Update 11 installations, stop vznetcfg before restarting network and start it after:

~# service vznetcfg stop; service network restart; service vznetcfg start
