A website shows error 'File not found' when PHP is handled by FPM and index.html file is absent.


This is Plesk internal issue with id #PPPM-3812, which is planned to be fixed in future product updates.


  1. Make sure that Nginx is enabled:

    # /etc/init.d/nginx status
     nginx.service - Startup script for nginx service
       Loaded: loaded (/lib/systemd/system/nginx.service; enabled)
       Active: active (running) since Thu 2015-12-24 11:02:47 NOVT; 6h ago
  2. Make a backup of current nginxDomainVirtualHost.php:

    # cp /opt/psa/admin/conf/templates/default/domain/nginxDomainVirtualHost.php /opt/psa/admin/conf/templates/default/domain/nginxDomainVirtualHost.php_back
  3. Download the attached file and place it into /opt/psa/admin/conf/templates/default/domain/ directory
