DNS records are not updated in MS DNS in Plesk 12.5 when creating a subscription. No errors are shown in Plesk interface, however, in %plesk_dir%\admin\logs\php_error.log the following error can be found:

ERR [1] PleskUtilException: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\/admin/bin/dnsmng" update test.tld without-reverse failed with message: Execute C:\Windows\system32\dnscmd.exe /ZoneResetSecondaries test.tld /SecureList 2103:ffff:432b::33ff:432b  /Notify 2103:ffff:432b::33ff:432b failed[9552]:

Manual execution of utility

%plesk_bin%\DNSmng.exe update  

results in the same error.

In MS DNS Manager records are not updated.


Bug #PPPM-3960. Fixed in Plesk Onyx.


Upgrade to the latest Plesk version.

If upgrade is not possible, replace DNSmng.exe in %plesk_bin% directory with fixed one.
