  • Virtuozzo containers for Windows 4.0
  • Virtuozzo for Windows 3.5.1 SP1
  • Virtuozzo for Windows 3.5.1

By default, you will notice that Virtuozzo will create a generic server with minimal services and settings.  To modify this server and have it serve as a Domain Controller, you should do the following:

Select the virtual environment you want to add to the domain and connect to it through the Microsoft Remote Desktop (RDP) as the Administrator.

Once your settings have been loaded, from the Administrative Start Menu, select Manager Your Server.  Once the screen is presented, you will find all the roles that have been configured for your server.  The common roles for an initial VE include:

Application Server,
Mail Server,
Terminal Server, and
WINS Server.

To create a Domain Controller, you will need to press the Add or remove a role link.  This will step you through the Configure Your Server Wizard.
