The VZAOP service doesn’t start. The following messages can be found in the in Event Viewer:

Event Type: Error

Computer: VZWIN32-2
Description: The VZAOp service terminated unexpectedly. It has done this 5 time(s). The following corrective action will be taken in 3000 milliseconds: Restart the service.

The most possible reason of the problem is corrupted C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Virtuozzo\VZAgent\etc\vzagent.conf file. To confirm this corruption, you should run the following commands from a DOS window:

cd C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Virtuozzo\bin

If the vzagent.conf is corrupted, it should return the following:

C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Virtuozzo\bin>vzaop.exe
vzagent : Can't read configuration file 'C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Virtuozzo\VZAgent\\/etc/vzagent.conf' : vzagent :

To repair the corrupted vzagent.conf file, you would take a copy of this file from the Service VE directory at C:\vz\private\1\root\swsoft\VZAgent\etc. Alternatively, you could take a copy of this corrupted file from another Virtuozzo server (Hardware Node).

If provided solution does not help configure the server to save user-mode dumps, request Parallels Support to investigate one of user-mode dumps.
