After changing the IP address of the Virtuozzo Virtual Connection from the system’s control panel, all of the VE’s become inaccessible. Changing the address back to its original value does not resolve the issue because it is impossible to set (32 bits) as the subnet mask.

The Virtuozzo Virtual Connection is bridged with the local area network connections on the host node and is crucial to the operation of all VEs. It serves as the default gateway for all of the “host-routed” VEs on the node. It should not be changed using the server control panel.

1. Open “regedit” and go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\SWSoft\Virtuozzo key.

2. Find "IPGATEWAY" value. This is correct IP address for Virtuozzo virtual connection .

3. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\{ GUID} key , find "IPAddress" and "SubnetMask “ values .

4. Change IPAddress to the address found in step 2 and change the "SubnetMask” to "".
