Starting from VZU35142, a new setting, cpulimit, is implemented. This setting establishes the total percentage of available CPU power a given VE can use.

It can be set through the command line interface (CLI) only (until a new VZMC version is released):

vzctl set VEID --cpulimit <percent_value> --save

Note: Please note that this setting doesn't divide CPU usage between VEs, but limits it for certain VEs at the current moment. That is, you can set all VEs, for example, to a 50% CPU limit. This would mean that no VE can consume more than 50% CPU at one moment in time. Additionally, CPU time will be divided according to cpuunits settings.
