Resolution

You can get the VE GUID by using the following command:

vzcfgt get VEID GUID

To obtain the GUIDs of all VEs, you can use the following script:

@echo off
for /F "skip=3 usebackq tokens=*" %%i in (`cmd /c "vzlist -ao veid"`) do (cmd /c "vzcfgt get %%i GUID" && echo is GUID of VE %%i)

In case the VEID.conf file is lost and it is necessaary to retrieve the GUID to be able to repair VEID.conf manually, you can use the following command:

vzdskctl mount_shared c:\vz\private\VEID\root.efd

The root.efd file will be mounted, and the GUID will be shown in the output.

Note: Do not forget to unmount the mounted root.efd using the following command:

vzdskctl umount GUID
