I received the error  when I try to backup the domain from Plesk CP:

Plesk CP -> Domains -> domain_name -> Backup
Plesk returns an error:
Error in UploadToRepositoryState.doActivityRunner()
Traceback (most recent call last):

newState = self.doActivity()

File "/usr/lib/python2.4/", line 248, in write
File "/usr/lib/python2.4/", line 235, in flush
error: (32, 'Broken pipe')

agent-runner.log shows:
== STDERR ====================
backup_sign: Can't find private key in database:
backup_sign: Can't get server's private key

Such error can be caused by missing certificate for backup signing. Try to generate the certificate with the command:

# $PRODUCT_ROOT_D/admin/sbin/backup_sign generate

This utility belongs to 'psa-backup-manager' package.
After that you should be able to back up the domain.
