Symptoms

I created a domain alias and when I am sending mail to it, the message never come.
If I try to put a message into the alias mail account (for example user@domain.com) via telnet, the error appears:

$ telnet mail.domain.com 25
Trying 192.168.1.1
Connected to mail.domain.com.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 hostname ESMTP
mail from: user@sender_domain.com
250 ok
rcpt to:user@domain.com
421 opendir() failed (#5.7.15) No such file or directory
Connection closed by foreign host.

Resolution

This problem has been fixed in Plesk 8.1.1 version. Please update your Plesk installation and make sure that 'psa-qmail' package has the same build number that the main 'psa' package, for example:
# rpm -q psa psa-qmail
psa-8.2.0-fc4.build82070706.15
psa-qmail-1.03-fc4.build82070706.15
