  1. The first step in installing Plesk Billing is to make sure that your server environment is correctly set for Plesk Billing to operate. Basic requirements can be found here:
  1. Once your system is ready, you will need to create a database for Plesk Billing to store information in. You can create this database using a graphical interface such as phpmyadmin, or over the command line with something like the following:

mysqladmin -u username -h localhost -p create databasename

Replace the bold variables with your own variables. Make sure that the user your create for the database has full admin privileges.

  2. Download either the Zend or IonCube version of Plesk Billing.
  3. Upload the fileset to your server. If you only have FTP access, you will want to extract the fileset before uploading it. If you have both shell and FTP, you can upload the compressed fileset, then extract it using the command line. If you are not sure how to upload files, please contact your server administrator.
  4. When the upload and extraction are complete, point your browser to:

where is the domain your license is tied to, and pleskbilling is the Plesk Billing directory or whatever you chose to rename it.

  5. Follow the instructions in the install wizard. Remember to delete the install directory after completing the installation process and prior to logging in to your new Plesk Billing system.
