Installing unsupported Microsoft updates on the Virtuozzo node causes a failure to start Virtuozzo Management service, and as a consequence, no containers can be started.


In Virtuozzo 4.0, the "ksalTester.exe" tool was introduced, which allows you to determine the incompatible Microsoft updates installed on the Virtuozzo host.

The following command displays information about the compatibility of Virtuozzo and Windows.

"C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Virtuozzo\bin\ksalTester.exe" -db "C:\Program Files\SWsoft\Virtuozzo\Extras\ksalDB.dat"

Example of ksalTester.exe's output when all Microsoft updates are compatible with the current Virtuozzo patch level:
