  • Plesk 8.6 for Linux/Unix
  • Plesk 8.4 for Linux/Unix

Symptoms

Sorting by traffic in domains list does not work properly.
Generally it sorts domains right, however, from time to time here and there one domain is popping out not in its place, e.g.:

Domain Name     Creation date       Subdomains    Domain aliases    Disk usage       Traffic
domain1.tld     June 25, 2007       0             0                 14.7    MB       6.06    MB/Month
domain2.tld     June 30, 2007       0             0                 28.8    MB       6.27    MB/Month
domain3.tld     June 13, 2007       0             0                 13.8    MB       6.29    MB/Month
domain4.tld     Aug  15, 2007       0             0                 456     MB       3 283   MB/Month
domain5.tld     June 18, 2007       0             0                 13.2    MB       6.62    MB/Month
domain6.tld     July 16, 2007       0             0                 105     MB       6.62    MB/Month
domain7.tld     July 21, 2007       0             0                 22.5    MB       6.72    MB/Month

Resolution

The problem is caused by an inaccuracy in statistics processing. It will be fixed in future Plesk updates.
Hotfix can be applied on  Parallels Plesk Panel versions 8.4, 8.6 and 9.x is in the attachment.

To install it you should download the archive attached and extract it with command unzip.
Find class.DomainsList.php3 (for version 8.4 and 8.6) or class.DomainsList.php (for versions 9.0, 9.2, 9.3 and 9.5) and replace existant file with it.
The file is located in directory /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/ for RedHat family or FreeBSD, and /opt/psa/admin/plib/ for Debian and Ubuntu.

Please remember to correct ownership and permissions.
You may change permissions with commands chown and chmod. For example:

~# chown root:psaadm /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/class.DomainsList.php3
~# chmod 644 /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/class.DomainsList.php3

Please note that after each Parallels Plesk Panel upgrade it is necessary to apply this hotfix again, cause Plesk updater changes these files.
