Limit "Disk space" is configured for client at Clients -> <client name> -> Limits. And client backups are created through Backup Manager at Clients -> <client name> -> Back up.

However disc space occupied by the backup files is not included to disc space usage calculation. Total disk space usage of backup files may exceed client limit and no notifications "Account Limit Notices" are sent.

In Parallels Plesk Panel version 8.6 disc space occupied by backups is not included to client's disk space usage calculation. This is a known issue for Parallels Plesk Panel 8.6 that has been fixed in Parallels Plesk Panel since version 9.0.

For fixing problem in Parallels Plesk Panel 8.6 structure of Plesk database should be changed and utility $DUMP_D/admin/sbin/statistics reconfigured.
The reconfiguration in version 8.6 is not expected in the nearest future, the work is scheduled to future update of Parallels Plesk Panel 8.

As a workaround for Parallels Plesk Panel 8.6 it is recommended watching size of client backups and remove them manually.
Client backups are located in directory $DUMP_D/CLIENT_ID, there CLIENT_ID is client's id. You may use the following command to get id for all clients:

~# mysql -uadmin -p`cat /etc/psa/.psa.shadow` psa -e"select id, pname from clients"
