1. Topic:

 Updated packages for Parallels Virtuozzo Containers 4.0 provide the following
 user-level tool fixes:
 - creating Containers using the 'vzctl' utility
 - backing up and restoring Containers using the 'vzbackup' utility
 - monitoring Hardware Nodes using the 'vzstat' and 'vzrmon' utilities
 - cloning Containers using the 'vzmlocal' utility

2. Problem description:

 - Fedora 10 and 11 distributions are not supported by Parallels Virtuozzo.

 - The ability to perform specific actions after creating a Container is

 - The ability to perform specific actions after cloning a Container is

 - 'vzbackup' must be able to create backups greater than 2 GB in size without
   splitting them into chunks.
 All Virtuozzo Containers 4.0 users are advised to update their tools packages.

3. Affected components description:

 - 'vzctl' is the primary tool for Container management. This tool is used
   to create new Containers, start and stop them, configure their parameters,

 - 'vzbackup' is a tool for backing up and restoring Containers.

 - 'vzmigrate' is a utility used to migrate Containers from one Hardware Node to
 - 'vzmlocal' is a utility for moving and copying Containers within the same
   Hardware Node.

4. Bug fixes:

 #131586 - vzbackup must create backups without splitting volumes.

 #111478 - The VOLUME_SIZE variable in /etc/vzbackup.conf must be documented.

 #427065 - A post-clone script (vps.clone) is required.

 #424067 - Execute the vps.create script after creating Containers.
5. Obtaining:

 You can download and install this tools update using the 'vzup2date' utility
 included in the Virtuozzo Containers 4.0 distribution.

6. Installation:

 Use the 'vzup2date' command to install the new Parallels Virtuozzo tools

 The update does not require Virtuozzo restart or system reboot.
