Since Parallels Virtuozzo Containers for Linux 4.0.0-460 it is possible to perform an arbitrary actions in hardware node context after container is created or cloned.

One need to create scripts vps.create or vps.clone in the directory /etc/sysconfig/vz-scripts on the Virtuozzo server and put desired commands into these scripts.

The script vps.create will be executed after a container was created, the script vps.clone will be executed after a container was cloned.

E.g., using these scripts you may enable NFS for every container you will create. Create the file /etc/sysconfig/vz-scripts/vps.create and put the following content into it:

echo 'FEATURES="nfs:on "' >> /etc/sysconfig/vz-scripts/${VEID}.conf

exit 0

Do not forget to make the script executable:

# chmod +x /etc/sysconfig/vz-scripts/vps.create

As a result the parameter FEATURES="nfs:on " will be put into a container configuration file right after container was created.
