Resolution

You can use the "vzmigrate" utility to move a container from one server to another. Here is an example of moving VE #101 to Hardware Node 192.168.0.1:

~# vzmigrate --remove-area no 192.168.0.1 101

If VE #101 already exists on the destination node, you can assign a new ID to a VE using this command:

~# vzmigrate --remove-area no 192.168.0.1 101:102

Full list of options is available via:

  • For Parallels Virtuozzo Containers for Linux:

    ~# man vzmigrate

More details are available in the User's Guide.

  • For Parallels Virtuozzo Containers for Windows:

    C:\> vzmigrate --help

More details are available in the User's Guide.
