I am cloning a Windows VM or creating a new one from a template using Parallels Virtual Automation (PVA), but the Windows SID is not changed in the target VM.

A feature that allows you to change the SID when cloning or creating a Windows VM using PVA will be included in a future PVA update.

The workaround is to use Parallels Management Console to clone or create a VM if the SID needs to be changed for the target VM. Another option is to change the SID in the target VM using a third-party application (such as NewSID).
