Symptoms

psi is abbreviation for Panel and Sitebuilder Integration. The log contains SOAP packet records that Parallels Panel sends to Parallels Sitebuilder during management.

psi.log is always disabled in Parallels Panel version 9.x by default.

Resolution

Using following instructions you may enable psi.log in Parallels Panel.

1.
Download the archive attached and unpack it.

~# wget http://kb.sp.parallels.com/Attachments/11692/Attachments/sbManager.zip
~# unzip sbManager.zip
Archive:  sbManager.zip
 extracting: sbManager.php
~#

2.
Save old file, replace /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/sb/sbManager.php with the fixed one and correct permissions.

~# mv /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/sb/sbManager.php /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/sb/sbManager.php.bak
~# mv sbManager.php /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/sb/sbManager.php
~# chown root:psaadm /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/sb/sbManager.php
~# chmod 644 /usr/local/psa/admin/plib/sb/sbManager.php

3.
Enable log_errors in /usr/local/psa/admin/conf/php.ini and restart sw-cp-server.

/usr/local/psa/admin/conf/php.ini
--->8---
log_errors = On
---8<---

~# /etc/init.d/sw-cp-server restart
Restarting SWsoft control panels server... stale pidfile.  [  OK  ]
~#

4. Set write permission for directory /usr/local/psa/var/log/ to allow creation of new file in the directory.

~# chmod o+w /usr/local/psa/var/log

Now when you manage Parallels Sitebuilder through Parallels Panel logs are put into file /usr/local/psa/var/log/psi.log.

Additional information

For example the following records are put into the psi.log file when change password of Parallels Sitebuilder through Parallels Panel (Home -> Sitebuilder Settings)

/usr/local/psa/var/log/psi.log
