Resolution

Apply the following workaround to deny access for FTP users to the domain logs directory by FTP and from the Plesk file manager:

For existing domains:

1. Create own hosting security template in %plesk_dir%\etc, e.g. my_hst.xml.

2. Write to my_hst.xml:

?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<Entries>
<Entry
AccounType="0"
Account="Null"
Path="[HTTPD_VHOSTS_D]"
SubPath="statistics\logs"
AceFlags="ThisFolderSubfoldersAndFiles"
AccessMask="NoAccess"
EntryFlags="0x1"
Tag="FtpSubaccounts"
Tag2=""
/>
</Entries>

3. Run for each domain:

"%plesk_bin%\HostingSecurity" --update-domain-security --vhost-name=<domain_name> --add-template=my_hst.xml

For new domains Add the same security entry to %plesk_dir%\etc\hosting_template.xml file.
