1. Topic:

 Updated packages for Parallels Virtuozzo Containers 4.0 provide user-level tool
 fixes for Container networking.
2. Problem description:

 - It is not possible to set a network mask for a Container operating in the
   host-routed mode.

 - It is impossible to connect a Container to a Virtual Network if more than 60
   IP addresses are assigned to the network adapter that is associated with this
   Virtual Network.

 All Virtuozzo Containers 4.0 users are advised to update their tools packages.

3. Affected components description:

 - 'vzctl' is the primary tool for Container management. This tool is used to
   create new Containers, start and stop them, configure their parameters, etc.

 - 'vznetcfg' is a utility used to manage Virtuozzo Networks and VLANs on the
    Hardware Node.

4. Bug fixes:

 #467952 - Support for setting a network mask for venet is needed.

 #459222 - vznetcfg cannot process 80 IP addresses on a single network

5. Obtaining:

 You can download and install this tools update using the 'vzup2date' utility
 included in the Virtuozzo Containers 4.0 distribution.

6. Installation:

 Use the 'vzup2date' command to install the new Parallels Virtuozzo tools

 The update does not require Virtuozzo restart or system reboot.
