Symptoms

The "Additional write/modify permissions" box on the domain hosting setup page in Parallels Panel allows you to enable the "write/modify" permissions inside the "httpdocs" folder of the domain. The functionality is described in the official documentation.

Resolution

Below is an example of how to modify the %plesk_dir%\etc\hosting_write_template.xml file to directly enable the write permissions for the "httpdocs" folder and its content:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
<Entries>
<Entry AccounType="0" Account="Null" Path="[HTTPD_VHOSTS_D]" SubPath="httpdocs" AceFlags="SubfoldersAndFilesOnly" AccessMask="FullAccess" EntryFlags="0x40" Tag="AnonymousDomainUser" Tag2="WritePermission" />
<Entry AccounType="0" Account="Null" Path="[HTTPD_VHOSTS_D]" SubPath="httpsdocs" AceFlags="SubfoldersAndFilesOnly" AccessMask="FullAccess" EntryFlags="0x40" Tag="AnonymousDomainUser" Tag2="WritePermission" />
<Entry AccounType="" Account="Null" Path="[HTTPD_VHOSTS_D]" SubPath="httpdocs" AceFlags="ThisObjectOnly" AccessMask="FileNonRemovable" EntryFlags="0x140" Tag="AnonymousDomainUser" Tag2="WritePermission" />
<Entry AccounType="" Account="Null" Path="[HTTPD_VHOSTS_D]" SubPath="httpsdocs" AceFlags="ThisObjectOnly" AccessMask="FileNonRemovable" EntryFlags="0x140" Tag="AnonymousDomainUser" Tag2="WritePermission" />
</Entries>
