Release Notes

The issue has been fixed since Plesk 9.5.3 for Windows.

Plesk Management Service crushes and mail queues are stopped for processing. In the Windows Event viewer it is possible to find the following errors:

Event Type: Error
Event Source: MEMTA.EXE
Event Category: None
Event ID: 1
Date: 12/1/2009
Time: 14:58:45 PM
User: N/A
Computer: RDMW3K3
The system cannot find the file specified. (Error code 2) at Unable to connect to pipe \\.\pipe\psamailfilterpipe
at (Con::ClientOverlappedPipe::create line 502)
at Mail Enable mail global filter(CPleskMEMTA::Execute line 141)
Execute file name: D:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\Mail Servers\Mail Enable\Bin\MEMTA.EXE

1. Stop the Plesk Management Service (it is better to use the Plesk Service Monitor tool for the purpose),

2. It is necessary to replace the %plesk_bin%\plesksrv.exe file with the attachment. See the article about hot-fix installation procedure,

3. Start the Plesk Management Service.
