In Internet Explorer 8 an issue with GUI of Parallels Panel may arise - buttons or other elements of the interface may be lost for example.

Parallels Panel may use IIS or Apache web-server engine, so there are to solutions for each case:

1. Internet Information Services:

   a) In Windows go to Start, Control Panel, Administrative tools, Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager,

   b) Select Web Sites, PleskControlPanel in the tree on the left part of the window. Select Properties in the context menu of  the PleskControlPanel web-site. The PleskControlPanel Properties window will be opened,

   c) Click on the HTTP Headers tab. Then press the Add... button on the Custom HTTP headers fieldset. The Add/Edit Custom HTTP Header window will be opened,

   d) Set the Custom header name value to 'X-UA-Compatible' (without quotes), and the Custom header value one to 'IE=EmulateIE7' (without quotes). Click OK,

   e) In the PleskControlPanel Properties window click OK to apply the changes.

2. Apache:

   a) It is necessary to add the following lines in the %plesk_dir%\admin\conf\httpd.conf file:
LoadModule headers_module modules/
Header set X-UA-Compatible "IE=EmulateIE7"

   b) Then restart Parallels Panel service in Plesk Service Monitor.
