SymptomsA reseller cannot disable mail service on the domain when the reseller un-checks "Activate mail service on domain" from the Mail preferences of the domain and then saves the settings. Plesk CP returns the message "Mail services on the domain domain.tld have been configured."
However, it is not actually disabled. If you go to the mail preferences of the domain, the option "Activate mail service on domain" stays unchanged.
ResolutionThis problem was discovered in Parallels Plesk Panel 9.x and will be fixed in a future update.
It is possible to fix this issue in your current Plesk installation by applying the fix on your server.
Replace the files $PRODUCT_ROOT_D/admin/plib/constants.php3 and $PRODUCT_ROOT_D/admin/plib/class.MailPreferencesForm.php with the files from the archive in the attachment.
Please read article #8083 about the hotfix installation procedure.

Do not forget to back up the original files.
