Once you upgrade SWsoft Virtuozzo 3.5.1 Service Pack 1 to Parallels Virtuozzo Containers 4.6, you can restore containers from their old backups by doing the following in Parallels Management Console:

1. Make sure that the container backup exists and is visible in Parallels Management Console. To do this, expand the Hardware Node name, click on the Backup folder, and look for the desired backup in the backup list.

2. Restore the container by expanding the Hardware Node name, clicking on the Backup folder, right-clicking on the respective backup, and choosing "Restore Container."

Important: Restoring container backups created in Virtuozzo 3.5.1 Service Pack 1 using the Container Manager is not supported. In other words, restoring containers is only possible from the Backup folder on the node level in PMC. If you open the Container in PMC and then go to Backup folder, you will not able to restore the container.
