[How to install and activate MagicSpam in Plesk?


General information

MagicSpam is spam protection in the SMTP layer, with no need to change DNS or MX records. Edge level protection that protects unlimited users, unlimited domains and allows users complete logging, statistics and custom controls.


To install MagicSpam in Plesk, go to: Extensions > Extensions Catalog. Search for MagicSpam extensions and click on Install


When MagicSpam extension is installed, it is activated as a Free edition that is listed as MSPLSK-FREE.

To re-activate it with the purchased license, upload MagicSpam license in Tools and Settings > License Management > Additional license.

Purchasing a license for MagicSpam gives you access to a wider range of the available MagicSpam protection methods including additional IP Reputation, dynamic updates of additional spam definitions, and much more.

To downgrade MagicSpam from purchased license back to Free edition, run the following command on a server:

# rm /etc/magicspam/magicspam.license
