InformationIf you wish to install the 'Customer & Business Manager' component in Parallels Plesk Panel 10, make sure that the Panel host name resolves to an IP address. Without it, installation of the component will fail.
This limitation is caused by the Single Sign-on (SSO) technology that Parallels Plesk Panel uses to interact with the 'Customer & Business Manager' software. The SSO service is unable to work with unresolved host names or directly with IP addresses.
Since Parallels Panel 10.4 SSO service can work with the IP address, it allows you to install the 'Customer & Business Manager' component without the correct host name resolution. The IP address will be used for the integration.
Additional InformationIn order to install the 'Customer & Business Manager' component in Parallels Plesk Control Panel go to Tools & Settings > Update and Upgrade Settings.
There click on Add Components button and you should see a list of components. Select the needed component and click Continue button at the bottom of the page to install it.
