There is a Parallels Server Bare Metal server with containers (CTs) and virtual machines (VMs).
Parallels Virtual Automation (PVA) agent is installed on it.

PPP for CTs works perfectly, but PPP of VMs cannot be accessed via their hostname ( https://<hostname>:4643/ ), while it is ok to browse it with the IP address ( https://<IP>:4643 ).

It is a known issue in PVA 4.5.1.

Unfortunately, there is no workaround.
The only way to fix it is to upgrade PVA to version 4.6.
