The below situation occurs very rarely, but may lead to services downtime, so we suggest that you always act as described in the “How to avoid” section:
Steps to reproduce:

1.       PVC CT is running;
2.       Using PMC change the network type for the CT;
3.       Answer “Yes”, when PMC offers you to restart the CT;
4.       The container may fail to stop and PMC may display a timeout error. All containers will become completely unmanageable (even via command line) and only HW Node reboot will allow to gain the control back.


It is a known issue in PVC and will be fixed in one of future releases.

How to Avoid

Answer "No" when PMC offers you to restart the CT after changing its network type.
Restart is not needed and the network type will be successfully changed.
