Parallels Virtuozzo Containers HW Node can not be registered properly in Parallels Virtual Automation.

After registration, Parallels Virtuozzo Containers HW Node is shown as offline in PVA. Its status is Not Licensed, and there is no ability to manage it.

Three causes are possible:

  1. The license installed on the PVC HW Node is EXPIRED. A valid license should produce the following result:

    # vzlicview | grep status
  2. The license installed on the PVC HW Node does not support PVA - it does not allow registering the node in a PVA group. If that is the case, then the max_vzcc_users parameter will be equal to zero:

    # vzlicview | grep max_vzcc_users
  3. The is another PVC HW Node in the same PVA group with the same license installed on it. This may happen if you use one temporary license for your PVC Nodes.

1, 2: In the first two cases, please contact your sales representative in order to obtain a valid license with PVA support.

3: In the third case, you should request an uniue temporary license for every HW Node or replace it with a valid permanent license.
